Programs

Groups and individual therapy

Four group programs and one-to-one sessions. Each page says who it helps, what an evening is like, and what it is not.

  • Skills group

Tuesday evenings for eight weeks. Practical skills for strong feelings and hard conversations.

    See skills group
  • Process group

Wednesday evenings, open to new members at the start of each month.

  • Men's group

Saturday mornings for twelve weeks, a steady place for adult men to talk.

Individual or group

Which one fits? Here is how they differ

Neither is the better door. This is how they compare, so you can decide, or tell us and we will help.

One to one

  • Who it suits

Adults who want the whole hour for themselves, or who are not ready to speak in front of others.

  • Time and size

50 minutes, one adult and one clinician, weekly or as you and your clinician decide.

  • What you share

Whatever you bring, at your own pace.

  • Privacy

What you say stays between you and your clinician, within the limits the law sets.

  • How you start

A short intake, then your first session with a clinician.

  • How it is paid

Billed to your plan, or paid yourself with a written estimate before you start.

In a group

  • Who it suits

Adults who want to practice with other people and hear how others handle hard things.

  • Time and size

90 minutes once a week, with six to ten adults and one or two clinicians.

  • What you share

As much as you choose. No one is asked to tell their story, and passing is fine.

  • Privacy

Members agree to keep what is said in the room. We cannot promise that for other members, and we say so before you join.

  • How you start

A short intake, then a start date for the next group that fits.

  • How it is paid

Some plans cover group therapy and some do not. We check first, and a reduced-fee spot may be open.

Not sure which one to choose?

Start with intake. One of our clinicians will talk it through with you, and you decide.
